Eagle Day
For an eagle day we restrict numbers to ensure you have maximum time with the birds.
After your welcome tea and coffee we will begin the day with a brief history of falconry, introduction to the birds and then a question and answer session.
We will then move on to flying the birds, where each guest will handle and fly birds throughout the morning.
The morning is spent building your bird handling skills and confidence in preparation for the afternoons eagle flying.
At lunch time you will make the short drive to The Coniston Hotel where you will enjoy homemade soup, sandwiches and real chips before heading back to the falconry centre for the afternoon session.
You will spend the afternoon being introduced to and flying our eagles. Due to the different temperaments of the eagles each bird must be handled, treated and flown in a different way the day will give you an overview of how best to deal with each of the birds.
Eagles fly free which means, weather permitting, you may well see one of these magnificent birds stooping towards you from one thousand feet - a sight you will never forget!
The cost of an eagle day is: £180 per person and includes lunch
